i think the problem here is people are buying it thinking it's a run n gun game for any old numb nut's no it's a tactic's game like the first one was i played opf1/arma 2 and this stand's up really well to both and is on a console to boot which is even more impressive.

I'm thinking that if it says 'Operation Flashpoint' on the box, it should have an Operation Flashpoint game inside. Which it clearly doesn't.

Wow, so is there anything good about this game apart from a cool name and artwork?

I love my run and shoot games, but this game is one of the best games i have ever played, when the bullets are kicking up the dirt and buildings are blowing up. Firefights in the night using tracer round's and all i can see is bullets flying over me whilst i am on the ground and everytime i stand up i get headshotted! And i love a challenge. I would reccomend this only if you like games where youi struggle to make 2ft of ground a day

Played a bit more last night to give it more of a chance. I actually ran up a hill with about 10 tango's firing at me while my squad kept them busy with suppressive fire, I ran past two of them and lobbed the C4 underneath the radar and legged it back. Didn't take a single shot and when the C4 went off I took about 5 tango's out. That was the high point after about 6 hours play though. There is just too few exciting moments. I don't want to spend 20 hours sneaking through grass on my knees to have a 20min firefight. I love sim games, most of the PC games I have are sims but this perhaps is a step too far. Also the AI can really suck at times. I was a commander in a jeep and the driver decided to drive off a cliff. Idiot.

I reckon mate. I actually reckon it was a woman driver!

somehow that doesnt shock me . I told my men to move into a house they went in at first! Then the 2 men i was protecting ran out and got their heads blown off by APC tanks. And then all my men went after them getting shot in crossfire by my team and the bad guys. I try not to think what would happen if i gave them a order to jump of a cliff.

You know i would not put it past them When in a fireight always have a couch and LCD ready, incase you miss the rugby sound perfectly right does it not? Well just played a bit more this morning and found out that not only do my men look the same their face expressions are all the same they look like this! They are always happy to die for me
