Huge thanks to Chris for being dedicated beyond the call of duty! And toby for polishing and Bob for being interested. I think we'll have a lot more to report this week.

Hmmmm yeah called him up earlier and I got a massive rant about bent forks...lol!
I'm not sure Chris was impressed with that at all.

Newsflash!

New forks purchased via some masterful "Buy it now" Fleabay negotiations because we just couldn't wait 5 days 6 hours and 24 seconds for them.

We are now officially more than £1000 over budget

So new forks are winging their merry (and expensive) 24 hour delivery way to Halifax ready to be mercilessly gutted, welded, carressed, cursed, hammered, cut, drilled, and threaded. Then they can be filled with Plutonium laced Blair Witch Soup and put on the bike for the weekend.

HURRAH!

LOL class job chaps! good write up as well cheered me up this morning!

i can only imagine chris face with the bent fork! Must have been the guy that broke in at 3am and buggered that fork seal! We have a similar guy at work that removes dimensions from my drawings!

keep up the good work, im interested in what hocus pocus is going on with the forks

Just seen this Carl, great thread. Shows the commitment required just to get on the grid, nevermind get a result. Hope you get it sorted in time for East Fortune, if you do I'll see you there.

too bloody right. I've spent many an hour sorting the bike getting it ready to race. All worth it once the lights go out though.

Dont forget to let us know how bad the butterflies get in the race holding area before you hit the track
