PH...to use an old racing motto...you never win the race on the first lap

The winners are usually slow starters but the Spanish were very good against a good side and quick out of the traps.

No penalty or sending off though...a bit OTT.

Quite a few bad referee decisions in that game though, the penalty / sending off being one. Also, Ukraine had what seemed a disproportionate amount of offside decisons go against them, Shevchenko was just laughing & shaking his head at the linesman by the end! The second half could have been a whole different story...
