I am not IT brill..

Uncle is.. he has 3 screens and can drag somehting right acrsoo all three- it leaves one screen on the left and appears onthe next from the right- its ace !..

I can do that on the two rightmost screens, since they're connected to the same PC. They both act as a wider desktop, so instead of the usual 1280x1024 I'd get with the 17" LCDs, I get 2560x1024 resolution. Pretty handy, I'd say.

You can do that with most modern graphics cards, almost all of them have some kind of dual display connection, or get a second graphics card and Windows (if that's what you're using) will take care of putting it all together (and probably crashing a lot more than you'd like).

Your uncle's PC must have two (or three) graphics cards, or a Matrox Parhelia (iirc they're the only ones with support for triple displays...).

Yes, it is. It's a del and I'm mad that they don't make these anymore. I don't think anyone does. It's just a docking station though. I just pop the laptop down on it and it connects to the keyboard and mouse, and whatever else I plug into the docking station.
