*raises hand*

Yep me to... I'm 1 1/2 stone over weight, I knew I had put on some weight but I wasnt really sure how much. As you might have read in the other thread, This is what I'm trying to do

Eat 5 portions of fruit veg a day nearly.
We're cooking our own food as much as possible rather than eating out of packets, jars and ready meals.
We've cut down the portion size we're eating at mealtimes.
I've stopped snacking on crisps and sweets in between meals.
I'm cycling an hour a night ( last night was 14.7 miles in 60 minutes ) this will increase as I build my stamina up.
I'm taking a 1 1/2 ish mile walk at lunchtime

Apart from that I'm eating what a little of what you like. I dont believe in all these fady diets. A little of what you fancy wont IMHO do you any harm.

I've got two targets in mind.

To complete a 55 mile cycle ride for charity in May.
To be able to get into my leathers when the weather warms up.

Ever since I remember checking my weight I've been anywhere from the wrong side of 15st when I was 18yo, the good side of 12st at 21yo, and very near 20st (yes, twenty) when I was 27.
I'm sitting not very happily at 16 now, thinking seriously of getting down to my "psychological" ideal weight of 14st. Do I know how to get there? From the figures above, yes I do. Do I have the will power to do it?

I just want to be attractive to me...

Edit: btw, does anyone reckon 1L of Innocent Strawberry & banana smoothie in one day is too much for any chance of weightloss?

I'm always trying to lose weight Am making a huge effort at the moment - eating sensibly etc so let's see how it goes. I've got a shoulder injury at the moment which is stopping a lot of the things I used to do at the gym but the physio is helping me a lot so I should be back there soon, fingers crossed, and I know that will help more than just eating sensibly.

Good luck everyone with their weight-loss plans

I have an office job, so it is easy to snack and hard to keep fit without doing something extra curricular ... so .. I go to the gym 5 times a week (sometimes 6) for 2-3hrs a time also my hobbies are action sports, so free exercise there ...

Yes I have a bit of belly and love handles that refuse to go, no matter how hard I work out and good I am with avoiding chocky and cakes ... but I’d like to think that I am hardly a bloater ... I also (most of the time) eat healthily, I have a nice big salad every night for example ...

We would all like to look like Brad Pit (or whoever girls find fit these days ) ... but overall I'd say I was not at any health risk or look particularly porky (if I suck me belly in a bit!! ) ... I am 13st and 5’9 - 5’10 ish 42” chest 32-33” waist (depending on cut) … so hardly out of proportion, but according to them charts I am best part of a stone deep into the overweight … I do aim to shave 1/2 stone after x-mass gluttony, but I am never going to be the 2 stone lighter I should be to hit the middle of the white bit ... I'd look unhealthy ...

In summery, ignore the charts …
