Sheesh! How close was that?

Felt quite sorry for Ireland to lose after they played most of the best rugby in the second half.

The French were great though, all credit to them.

I hate to say it but, *gulp*, France to retain the title?

I want Ireland to inflict some heavy pain and suffering on someone. ASAP. Not at all a happy camper at the moment.

Engaaahland are as good a candidate as any.
We need Stringer and O'Driscoll back. Stat.

Bloody French.
Croker looked savage though. Proper stadium, proper crowd. How is the new Lansdowne Road going to fit all these people?

Bring it on !!

I don't agree with those pundits who said that Ireland were unlucky - the French played the game for 80 minutes - the Irish for 78 !!

Sorry, but that's the way it is.

Once O'Gara had kicked that penalty you could see that the Irish thought it was in the bag - they didn't even attempt to contest the re-start- they were playing containment rugby & they paid the price !!

I couldn't agree more....the difference again England though will be that they won't make the same mistake twice and considering the political history of the venue and the emotionally charged atmosphere I think Ireland will make them their bitches

I dunno - they were pretty cocky with the French and let things slip - all beit with help from a dodgy kiwi Ref

How cocky will they be when England visit though. They have points to prove and payback pressure at that stadium to hand out. I think this will be Englands opportunity to shine now. The England game was lacking any inspiration last Saturday - but it was fairly clinical none the less and they punished the Italians every penalty. The Irish play a very open and fast game which will be entirely different. I back England as the underdogs for this one... only as I think its time their back line step up and meet the challenge. Hope its as fast as Sundays!

In what way did Steve Walsh influence the final try ?

if you're talking about the game in general then I'd agree - but all in all I think he balanced his dodgy decisions evenly !!
