Personally, I'm not sure yet if I'll be able to make it (and if I do, it's looking like it'll be a there, ride, and back in a day - Plowsie style commitment to riding).

So wherever. I'll leave it to the locals to do the planning. Smudge, I'll bring some of the youngests nappies for ya bud.

Just been made aware of this little gem! So long as I can book the Sunday off, I'll be there.
Happy to lead the group from Rivvy to Slaidburn and over the tops.
Devils up to Sedbergh is an ace road, but how about turning right at Sedbergh and going up Crosshaw Brow to nateby, then Brough, then Hellbeck to Middleton In Teesdale, left, up to Alston, then over Hartside. Down to Penrith, then either back down the A6, bouncing off the rev limiters, or past Ullswater, over Kirkstone, then into Ambleside.

Some of it is the reverse route from the North v South ride. Best day on a bike ever!

I make it 164 miles from Rivvy to Ambleside.

just the lakes section will take about 4hours inc stops unless we meet at 6am theres no chance we could fit that in its ok if it was just confident riders going but we have to cater for the guys n gals that dont push it, is there any news on the accomodation front deffos so far are
