Sorry to pull out at the last minute, but on the bright side, theres a free place at Pete's Eats now, and free as in beer for anybody who wants it.

Hope you all have a riot
Mate, thats not good.....hope your feeling better soon. Drew
Yup Lilly we are all set.....

I have cleaned the bike, cleaned the boots, cleaned the helmets. I've also had my hair cut.
Everything is packed in the panniers which are now on the bike.......

Question for you all........the panniers are fixed by all anchor points and by the bungees and will not budge in any way.....except......the outer edge can be moved up and down.....is this normal?????
And coloured Pink too Drew?

The panniers should be fine with Lilly sat on them, in the nicest possible way Lilly I mean, but I like to stop them flaring out from the bike at the front, so I tie them to the pillion footpeg holder

Sorry to dissapoint Pete, but just got the old man to shave it back, nice and short.

I have tied the attached straps to the footpegs and have bungees under the seat and over.....probably just me being cautious as never ridden 2 up and with luggage....any tips?

Drew, get Lilly to sit on the bike tonight with the fully loaded panniers and make sure there is enough clearance for her feet with the moon boots on. If not slide the panniers further back. Also if you have straps running over the seat you might consider using an old towel or similar to minimaze the chafing on delicate bits.

It's 2 long days riding and you both want to be a comfortable as is possible.
