Re: Glencoe Massacre IX - Chat thread
Got to drop out too, just cancelled my Hotel booking, my back just wont let me go over 100 miles at a time these days so the 500 odd miles on the Friday is a no no

Re: Glencoe Massacre IX - Chat thread
The McDonald Hotel have now released the rooms and cabins so that they can be booked by other people. Availability in the Highlands is tight at that time of year, so they will probably go quickly. If you want to come but haven't already booked your room, I'd give them a call.

Re: Glencoe Massacre IX - Chat thread
I cleaned the ZZR today. I don't think it's wheels have been properly done since 2009!
Its got new discs, pads, rear shock, forks oil change. So I thought it best to give it a bath. Ermaaagerd, my back patio was a sludge of manky crap. As for the chain, I'm Pegasus exclaimed.... It's gold! You couldn't see the shape of the rear sprocket nuts for crud. The wheels are silver, not black Peg So that's both bikes ready to go. Raptors all done, and run since its rebuild. Sweet!!

Re: Glencoe Massacre IX - Chat thread
Room Booked
Passout forged Almost ready to go But . . Clutch hand fubarred, so may be limited on little roads I can take. Could be done with a couple of dozen downwards gearchanges, but where's the fun in that? Will have to keep score. Meanwhile, for the ( obligatory ) t - shirt? :
