What's good to bring for camping?

Guys

Is there anything you want me and Falc to bring up with us to save you lot carrying it on the bikes?

Apart from the kitchen sink I think we've got enough to last 2 weeks not 2 nights

I don't think anyone has mentioned towels?
Are you guys not intending to bathe?
or just air dry after a skinny dip?

They're quite bulky to fit in at the last minute!

Towels - definitely!

And I just had a thought... for those of us coming on bikes - one of those plastic disc thingys that stops your sidestand sinking into the ground. (Unless people improvise with squashed beer cans or something).

Yer sidestand pucks, I got a couple I could lend, failing that a crushed beer/coke can does the trick also

Aye I went out and got one.

I had two a while back that I got free at the bike show but decided that I was unlikley to have to park in a field and gave them away

I've misplaced my free one from a mag so I'll be using a coke can or a coaster.

Many a bike rally I've had to find a can before getting off the bike which usually ment drinking the contents first.
