Was a good one all! Shame we didn't manage to get more donations, but considering how many people were out and about when we got to places, we didn't do too bad

Yeah good seeing some of you again and meeting you geo!
Steves right for the slim pickings there were out there we did well to get what we did get.
It's a proven theory now though, the "ride with a difference" is cracking idea to help good causes out there.

Just counted up, £35.10

Not bad indeed considering our timing couldn't have been more unfortunate missing the 100-odd bikes that were just leaving the Manor Cafe on our arrival! The slow race would have worked extremely well in light of a good crowd, we only managed to lure one fella who wasn't in our group to play ball, everyone else was too afraid of showing themselves up lol. Definitely need a good atmosphere to get the ball (and pennies) rolling!

Thanks so much to those who managed to make it in the end, we did have a few bailouts but can't be helped!

Lovely to see Luckypants and missus at the start and a most pleasant surprise to be having my hand shook by Geodude before even getting a chance to take me lid off! You're a sound chappy, chuffed to have met you at last!

Orose, cheers for your company this eve, glad you like the new gaff

We really need to sort the Hardy Bikers properly this year!

Great to see all you folks again, shame it wasn't on the bike but suits don't fold into panniers. :screwy:

Mel was very pleased to put faces to names after hearing so much about you.

See you all sooner rather than later I hope.

Sent from my phone.

I think I need to do something with my visor - rode into heavy spray between Wakefield and Barnsley, and it all arrived on the inside shortly afterwards.

Mike, if it helps in future, the Marks & Spencer easy care travel suits are really good. Creases drop out completely with body heat after 5 minutes. They are not quite as smart and look a bit like a lighter casual evening suit, but nobody could ever say you were inappropriately dressed when wearing one.
