The seller put up a couple of close up pics of what they said were minor scratches, to highlight them. This is what I would have expected for daves seller to have done

Its really made me worry about them now as there are some really horrid sly sellers like this spider person, even checked against this thread to make sure it wasn't him that were sellin em!

Well if you look about 3 feedbacks ago looks like someone sle wasn't happy with your descriptions. Just this one takes the michael a bit. I've shown it to loads of people and most can't believe it. It's repeatedly getting described as a 'yellow turtle' why couldn't you have put that detail in or have not put a misleading photo or atleast mentioned that the blemishes, chips, scratches and cracks aren't shown very well in the photo?

the kawasaki jacket that i sold , i have offerd the buyer a refund as i thought it was in VGC........ but the seat cowl was listed as not perfect. so no refund, IF i had said it was in good condistion then i would understand but i did not. i made you an offer you turned it down. sorry.

You failed to mention it was resprayed, badly. That is not as described end of.
You took a misleading picture then used misleading words 'not perfect', it's not a lot of things. You mentioned a couple of blemishes you said nothing about scratches, cracks (ALL OVER) and chips.

If I had asked specific questions about a product and received the right and proper answers only to find when the goods arrived that the seller lied, then I would be peeved off.

I have only ever used Ebay once with a seller in Germany and everything went well and the goods were exactly what was expected, especially as the goods were over 15yrs old at the time and in immaculate condition, well chuffed. However, I have heard too many stories of people being ripped off despite all precautions, questions etc. being asked and answered. Therefore, unless the goods are from someone I know either directly or through a friend, I wont touch Ebay or any other auction site.

I do think you have a case and all I can say is continue to badger Ebay and most definitely put a negative feedback on the sellers site if you can, sellers dont want negative feedback.
