sounds like we finish at 7.30 tonight, should be de-rigged by 8pm so I think I'll just grab a cab straight to the winlock once I've checked in at the hotel. Saves fecking around with tubes etc.

It's actually the same reason why I'm *never* at soho (that & I get rather shy/self concious/self esteem stuff). I finish work at 5.30. I work central & live 6-7 miles away. What am i likely to do wait & wait & wait or go home?!

Dude there is usually someone at Soho by 6ish. When i used to finish at 5.30 and work on Baker Street i'd be there before 6 and it was never too long before someone else showed up. So no excuses from now on for not showing up at Soho.



Anyway, i'll be picking up some forks on my way in which means lots f faffing about attaching them to the bike and then taking them off again at the pub only to put them back on again when i leave...unless the pub has outdoor seating of course which means i can leave it strapped to bike and keep an eye on em.
Either way i'm gonna be on the bike so will only stay for one and then head over for some Mexican food before going home. Since i mentioned the mexican food on here ive had to fight the craving and go get some every time i pass by it.....so i'n deffo having some tonight, with or without you guys

WTF, they stop serving simple sandwiches by that time? Just had a quick look at their website and i gotta say it looks like a real "old man's" pub tbh. And no sign of outside seating on the pic.

Remoind me again why it was decided to go here when london is full of nice lively pubs that do food till all hours?

Well since i'm doing the least drinking no matter where we go its not right for me to suggest an alternative.
And if you're of a mind to cab it to the pub then cabbing it back wont be too tought right? And that means any of central londons pubs are your oyster so to speak.

I;m sure someone who knows more about suitable pubs than i do will be along soon to suggest something.

Because the Wenlock does the best beer and is relatively, for London, cheap AND the original brief was nearish where Paul is staying.
