N97, realy realy bad phone, slow, slow, slow, buggy, suffers scratching of the camera lens
N97 mini, ment to be better, screen is worse than N97 in sunlight and battery is not as good but aparently its better than the N97 but still not good

Blackberry 9700, realy good, im surprised, depends if email is your thing

I had a N97 and i had to send it back because of all its problems.

I just got an iPhone. But it appears to be b*ggered so it's going to have to go back to the Orange shop tomorrow. Pulled it out of the box- it was powered up with the apple logo showing. Nothing has changed this- plugging into the mac and running iTunes didn't help. The on/off button isn't responding.

Damn!

Try a reset: press and hold the Home button and the Power button at the same time. About 5-10 seconds should do it.

It will take a short while to start an iphone everytime you start it up. Just let it do its thing. Dont bother with taking it back, you'll not see your phone for ages if you do!

Make sure its charged, plug it in to itunes and run an update on it. (thats all Apple will do when they recieve your phone back to their repair shop)
