You maybe can't see the detail on the pics because of my not so great cameraphone and lack of light, but its got the newer design of adjuster without the slider nut which has been known to come loose during riding and let go of the extendible part. It also folds away. Design is strong and well made. Definitely a bargain.

those tyres are fine, plenty of life left in both. You should find that they'll clean up after a couple of laps. I've raced on worse.

Right, so the only difference is they arent extendable? I dont mean to sound arsey, just trying to figure out the difference?

Yes they are extendible, that's the point. They have made the adjuster more subtle (you can't see it from the top, as the sliding mechanism is hidden underneath) and they've disposed of the slider nut mechanism. So its both extendible and foldable.

Extended:

How to describe it? Its like a zip or ratchet type mechanism, completely hidden within the folding lever. Feels very robust but still light. Functionally no different but feels better designed and will not come loose like the last design.

The same company on ebay lets you chose the colour of both the extender and the adjuster, along with the style you want.
