Out in the country in Ireland, writing up my thesis.
I heard from someone "Something really bad has happened", first thing I thought was there had been a massive bomb in Dublin, and I was trying to work out where my brother and old man were. Then I found out what had happened, and, I am ashamed to say, I was quite relieved.  Then, I realised my gf's family are all out there. Then I was worried again. Then I was just generally really disturbed, thinking about what retaliation the US would make. |
