Yeah that was a good day. Thanks peeps.

Had some good fun up near the Forth Bridge playing with all the 'parked' cars.

Glad it all went well today and that the number of SVs was up on the last one. Quedos and her mate Kate (another biker) both managed a very respectable 40min for their 5K run despite the sum total of NO training. The course was pretty hilly in places too. Well done girls

It'll be my turn next with the Gents 10K next Sunday

Thankfully we both had a good ol' day on the bikes on Saturday which included lunch, ice cream, a pint and finally hand-made crisps .

We'll keep watch for the next rideout and see if we can't manage that one.

Garry

I'm blaming Ducati fuel consumption for that one! You, me and Tony were clipping along at a very nice pace (Careless and the other maniacs having disappeared) when I saw the Duke peal off into a petrol station. I stopped thinking kitkat and Stuarty would appear while we waited but the place was shut (how quaint) so Tony and I resumed.

Wondered where you were off to but aye, it's a bugger that one - GLASGOW M8 WEST - how can anyone make head nor tail of that?

Anyway, here we are under the trees in Moffat

And here are the survivors back at the start/finish

A grand day out (half a day for me), thanks Tony

Nice pics! - glad the weather held up for you further down south - really peeved i missed it but the bikes leccy probs are still on-going so its back to the drawing board - also i broke down just outside dunfermline on sunday evening so had to make the call to green flag, boo hoo! - the sv's engine cutoff mid 80mph+ as i was overtaking on a pretty busy road, needless to say i left a trail of brown bricks behind me and was very lucky not to have a car behind me when it happened!
