At the end of that video, you nailed that last guy from way back. I'm a big fan of your vids... but maybe not so much of the one that just shows your ar5e for 90% of the time. Think it's at cadwell.

As I said, it is hard to state the facts without it coming across as arrogant/bigheaded/c***t like. But surely it is plain to see I am far from ‘struggling’ out there, so I’d hope people can look past the fact it sounds like I am ‘giving it large’ by implying I had no competition and just take it as a statement that I’d have preferred if I had people to ‘play’ with. Although great fun zipping past people, the novelty soon wears off and you want to fight for it. Also with the poor lines and poor pace by others, it makes it a bit hard to get a proper ‘on-it’ lap in myself, with that sort of differential you have to have a bit of caution as going in fully committed is just that, so I only ever put in <100% if someone else is there.

As for kicking my butt, as you can see from above, I’d love it if you boys could give me a run for my money!!

So why don’t you go on a day together, see who p1sses the highest, then I’ll take them on

Not at all Blue, this is pretty typical of a track day really, except the ones that are the day before a race meet when you get plenty of guys practicing for the next day.

I know what you mean with the unpredictability you get on these sessions, people do brake FAR too early in many cases and you need to keep your wits about you when following as I'm pretty sure you're already aware.

Its much more fun when you get somebody to race against at the same pace

It actually seems slower in a race than a track day session more down to the fact that everybody else is going quicker or braking later.

Good fun though eh

The only reason I took a detour the whole day was because of someone braked completely randomly.

After the woodcote start finish straight on the last lap of the first session, the chequered flag was waved and someone slammed on the brakes almost to a stop for no reason and with no brake lights....I had to go on the out side of him which put me wide into the corner and the grass was wet so i stood the bike up instead of chancing it lol.

Dude, I think ASM was yanking your plank!

Next time I'm about the UK I would like to do another trackday with you- Not because I want to beat you (that was just a joke!) or anything male and willy waggling like that - just I am quite quicker than the last time I rode on track, and I'd like to compare! I still think you are by far quicker than me but I'd like to see just how much quicker!

Although I’d be sceptical until I saw it, there is no real reason why either of you couldn’t have upped your game, so would never rule the fact out that you might well on fire now

That video makes me think I would be fine in the fast group at most trackdays. Most of them just look like they're cruising round admiring the scenery. Obviously blue is pretty quick, and maybe it makes them look slower than they are, but still..........most of them are nowhere near the limit are they? Imagine Blue on an R1 in that company.

Believe me, most track day heroes would get a shock taking part in a race, even a relatively slow race at that. No matter what they brought along there'ld be somebody on a stock something or other blasting around the outside and showering them with sparks

I think alot of people join the fast group because of either their ego (not aimed at Blue ) or the size of their bike rather than their ability. Some track day orgs now include an ACU licence holders open session as a result to make it safer, safer for the racers that is.

Top tip - leave the bl**dy brakes alone! The bike will go round with or without you.

You can generally tell if there is someone with race experience on a trackday.

Pace aside there are 2 main givaways s9omone has had race experaince ... Firstly they NEVER follow-me-leader ... if they are behind someone, they are always trying to find a way past. Secondly, they brake much much deeper into corners
