Stu, it's quality of noise, not quantity. My Renegades were loud, but deeeeep and bassy. Pete and Lissa's stubby is LOUD but also has that deep and crackly sound like a Rolls-royce Merlin from a Spitfire / Hurricane.

Yours is just LOUD and sounds like someone is tearing metal to me m8! Some folks like that, I don't - it's a personal preferance. Yours also looks completely illegal man!

However, if Pete or you met an awkward copper, you ain't going nowhere!

I now have my "pass out" for both days
However as this will be my first "proper" ride-out, I'm gonna play it by ear, see how it goes as to whether I do both days or not. I'll be heading down from Liverpool and will be heading back to Liverpool Saturday evening.

So that's another Pete to add to the list ... although I won't be staying at Pete's Eats just to save any confusion

Cheers,
Pete

The route's we'll be doing, we'll be pretty unlucky to run into any police really. They tend to keep themselves more to population centres, and on weekends, popular bike routes.

I haven't seen many weekend warrior types on most of the roads we'll be using - no idea why as they're damned good roads, maybe a lack of knowledge about how good they are on a bike?

About the worst you could expect, would be for them to be running spot checks at Ponderosa again.

I reckon you'd be fine even with your exhaust Stu*.

Pete, good to have you onboard You won't have anything to worry about re: the ride itself, only maybe the weather. Don't forget waterproof's. You're welcome to kip in Pete's Eats with us insane lot, unless of course you have a better offer.

*I'm not taking any of the blame if I'm wrong though.

Pete
So you're going to ride down (what, 1h 30 from you to Ponderosa? Depending where you are in Liverpool), ride around, then ride home (2h 30 from me to Alder Hey), then if you're doing the second day, ride back (2h 30), ride around, then ride home (approx 1h 30).

I don't think we're the insane ones.

Bring the missus on the pillion seat, both sleep in Pete's Eats. Job jobbed.
