I've just bought some for when I get back on the road, after hearing you all rave about them, they must be worth a try

Funnily enough my rear storm is near the end of it's life, having ground out both pegs and exhaust at times the performace was never left wanting in either wet or dry (in fact pretty much the same in both), they more than out performed the bike itself (at 110 mph coming off the end of Northolt's runway the judder from the forks was far more worrying than the rock solid feel for the tyres even leaned right over).
Judging by the looks of the things, the rear will have covered about 9.5k and the front is a about 2/3 gone. Although my style isn't exactly pedestrian, I have developed a certain care for my rubber so always seem to get better mileage than some ![]() Oh and they are fitted to a Triumph Thunderbird Sport, 92 bhp,209kg (dry) Cheers Mark.

Fair enough- 20 quid to get them fitted then, total less than 170. If I bough them off the bloke I had fit them, it would've cost about 205 quid.

Will most places fit them if you take the tyres in for that sort of price? I'll ring a few fitters tomorrow |

that was to loose wheels, I don't know what it'd be otherwise.

Most places will charge over the top for fitting if you have bought the tyre from elsewhere. Makes sense.
Mark at Ride In in Reading charges £20 per wheel for tyres fitted he didn't supply. Or if you buy the tyres from him I think it's £5 per wheel. At least that's what he charges me, but I'm special. ![]() He always gives me very good prices, especially when I also was looking to buy them from other sources. He made it worth my while to keep going to him. |
