Re: Vintage film cameras
Yeah, blame Johnny for posting gumtree links and encouraging me to search....
I came across this. If it's the lens I think it is....... Camera I'd just put back on ebay but there would be a spare 50mm 1.7. I've emailed the seller https://www.gumtree.com/p/non-digita...set/1169440152 |

Re: Vintage film cameras
Ha, I saw that but thought I'd done enough damage already.
I've heard other people too saying they disliked the AE1 when they get it in their hands. |

Re: Vintage film cameras
Nice one Yoko, let me know. Johnny, it does feel odd in the hand compared to the Fx-D, OM10, Pentax K1000, MV/MV1 Zenit EM/TTL slr cameras I have tucked away. Good bit of kit for a fiver though. He is a bad influence, made me buy a K1000. What's next?

Re: Vintage film cameras
LoL. It won't do too much damage. The short range zoom is meant to be one of Minolta's best lenses. It's that I'm really interested in.

I think it's the x300 though, 370 is the US version?? Not sure what the zoom is. The seller doesn't say and I cant make it out from the lens. |

Re: Vintage film cameras
28-70mm f3.5. Don't think it's a Minolta lens though

Re: Vintage film cameras
Me neither. The maker's name is half hidden, looks like pro.. something. Not a brand I recognise. Also, it says auto zoom??

Re: Vintage film cameras
Prospec
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Prospec-SLR-...p2047675.l2557 auto probably means auto aperture i.e. shutter priority mode if supported by the camera |
