Re: The All new Reeder Megathread
Unfortunately for us the rain did not arrive until 11 on NYD so we had well over half an hour of continuous barrage. Living in a valley it's remarkable how well it reverberates around and for how long!

Re: The All new Reeder Megathread
Having been to the cinema and watched some of the dreadful Assassins Creed, that my daughter preferred over the lastest Star Wars, im now at home with a cup of tea, and watching a great movie. The Great Escape! Bliss
They don't make em like they used to.

I used to play the Assassins Creed games but they got all samey. Think I will avoid the film as well.

Re: The All new Reeder Megathread
I've got The Dambusters on the planner waiting for a quiet evening when I can watch it on my own.

Re: The All new Reeder Megathread
Couldn't post this in smile or gripe of the day
My 84 year old mum had the first accident in all her years of driving, she was driving in the dark & I have no idea where she was going or what she was going to do, she's in early stages of dementia. I don't think she knew either. So that's the gripe Its not a smile, but she wrote off her car, well a P reg Astra isn't going to be repaired. It saves us having to say she can't drive anymore, which with a stubborn elderly mother wouldn't be easy. Thankfully no one was hurt, and her insurance will pay for the damage to the other car.

Re: The All new Reeder Megathread
Yep it solved a problem and things weren't going to get any easier for her. Trying to get her assessed to get her into a home so she has more contact with people and someone to watch over her 24/7
