Re: Open pitlane!
It hasn't got sesions.
Track opens in the mornin, and closes at evening (or whenever it finishes). You can go out as much as you want/can afford/can stand

Re: Open pitlane!
Ahhh, is it just the day you pay for then? Or the number of times you go out?

Re: Open pitlane!
The day.
I was/am tempted by this. Got an email about it over crimbo, just got a serious lack of cash at the moment due to silly things like weddings. *humf*

Re: Open pitlane!
Its a MUCH MUCH better format unless you are a complete noob.
You can go out for as long as you want or as little as you want. The days are much safer and run much more smoothly generally from my experiences. When its sessioned people feel they HAVE to go out so its always packed, and they go out for the whole duration. For some people/or their vehicle it may be to long, or for some they may have wanted longer. If your car/bike breaks on a sessioned day, you risk missing a slot while fixing it. My experience of an open pit lane is that the day was much more relaxed, you get much more time on the track, and its normally less congested and people spread their time out more. The only down side is its not possible to have novice and fast groups etc. |

Re: Open pitlane!
Seems a really cool idea, but I've never been on a track before, so intend to do a sessioned day or 2 first

Re: Open pitlane!
Never done one before, is it expected out of you to do one or two sessioned ones before trying one of these?
