Default Should I still get all excited about doing a trackday?

Doing this on sat http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=119081

I am all excited as I have never done that track* before!!

Lets hope the weather stays OK

I know not everyone looks in the TD section, so perhaps seeing this might inspire others to sign up?!!?

Paws doesn't live too far from The Rock, she said for every member that says they'll go she will get her baps out

*i.e the international layout

Don't be, the National is better, imo

When you've seen one pair, you've seen them both...as my ex-father-in-law used to say.

Actually, I hope she does get her baps out, I'm rather partial to a soft floury bread roll.

Looking forward to the vid of battered old curvy thrashing state of the art superbikes round the rock then.

Yeah, I'll get some footage ... as long as I haven't stacked the R6/myself before I have a go on the SV!!

As I said I am particularly excited as Paws is gonna get her baps out ... I mean coz I have never ridden the track before, so it is an all new experience for me!!

yes you should feel excited

Quite a few people told me the Int'l circuit wasn't as good as the National as you miss out all the back straight. First session I thought it was a bit mickey mouse but I started preferring it until I highsided coming off the second part of the oval round the 180 - it's very bumpy. I still think it's a great track.

I didnt notice many bikes coming past you on the brakes
Who said SV brakes dont work?

And how does the int compare with the nat at the rock?
I know half of it is the same, but what do you think of the outer bit?

Which group is that?

I know you're quick, but that isn't something you could say about any of the ones you're passing
