Default Rider down...

Me...

Me and the sv parted company this morning, hit a patch of black ioce on a corner-had no chance (luckily was doing about 5-10mph), front end just went.
Both of us slid down the road,me on my side following bike.

Ive hurt my right hip.
Damge to bike, well what i could see before i left it was: Rear brake lever snapped, footpeg and hanger bent, done my akrapovich can, indicator, and tail piece is scratched to hell.
Good points though are that she DOES still run, no sign of oil or petrol leaking out anywhere, and the RnG crash bungs saved alot of her.

Shes at the local bike dealer/workshop, so i'll let you guys know damage etc when i find out.

Big thanks to Runt for keepping me calm when i called him this morning.

That could happen to anyone, hope the bike gets repaired quickly and you get back out on it soon.

Unlucky Paws. At least you're OK, the bike can have a little cash thrown at it (hopefully not much from what you've said as well).

The weather is set to get worse in the next week or so too, so maybe this was perfect timing, meaning that you might not be on the bike for the worst of it?

Good luck with it all anyhow

Bad luck, Paws. Hope your not hurt too bad. Damage doesn't sound too bad, except for the can.
