I cut the lawn today. It's a bit scary that it needed doing so early in the year but it felt nice doing something so productive. I also slapped some Ducksback preservative on the new bits of raised bed woodwork and got rid of a big pile of scrap wood in the incinerator, after weeding the veg patches and tidying the shed. If it hadn't been constantly threatening rain I would have gone out on the bike... Never mind, it felt good to be busy.

New car. 470miles + 50miles still in tank and it cost me 27.88lr. car says 66mpg avg.

Yup it hasn't moved from between 64-67mpg and I'm now on my 3rd tank full. Combination of MW, country roads but mostly town driving. The nanny state stuff is starting to pizz me off though, got caught in the snow last night and the radar detector got covered so no cruse control... Grrrr
