Fuel price rise
So yesterday was D day, took the bike out and went for a proper ride in the cotswalds. Was a good day, i can ride pace was good so im very happy. I picked up a young-ish oik thast followed me for a while on a GSXR750
Anyway they while i was out i notice the panic buying was still happening, Except for one petrol station on the A44 at the top of fish hill, £1.53 and £1.59....... thats just pure cheek Sooner or later that will be the normal price sadley. Last edited by robh539; 31-03-12 at 04:56 PM. |

Re: Fuel price rise
I was wondering if after all this rubbish about shortages ect is over, will the prices drop again or will they stay as they are?
I filled up yesterday after the local tesco and sainsbury ran dry only because in traveling to lowestoft on Wednesday. The car is full, bikes are full and if it really gets stupid i will walk or cycle about locally. |

Re: Fuel price rise
I dont think the prices will drop much to be honest. They will take the pi$$ as much as possible, a few getting rich out of this very quickly.

Re: Fuel price rise
Will pm details to you mate.
I remember back when we had proper shortages due to strike action (maybe'2000?) That a few garages decided to cash in and increase the price to stupid amounts due to the high demand. After the strike action was over, people didn't use the garages again and they went bust. Shows what can be done if you vote with your feet. |

Re: Fuel price rise
I know there normally pricy in that as i use those roads alot. Its due to lack of customers and delivery charges for them are higher, but thats taking the pi$$.

Re: Fuel price rise
I nearly had a heartattack when I picked up the pump to fill up
Was good to see you the other day too Rob... watching you try to peel your crippled body off the bike provided the days entertainment |
