Default Re: 'Ere 'ere is the EAR Megathread

I burnt my face from riding Sunday and today, it's been a great last couple of days getting to know the gixxis.

I'm open to an April meet instead Rich, whatever brings more numbers....could do one run each month...assuming reasonable weather is to be had

Anyone new or old interested in a day out make yourself known! The day, if we get interest, will be starting with a English breakfast or bacon roll in a greasy spoon at Red Lodge turnpike where we meet, a couple hours riding, then meat raffle/drinks in a seemingly random pub, then a couple more hours riding before going are separate ways....

If we get a few more replies I'll pop up a poll for dates based on what seems do-able...

Crazy that nothing happens on here from our eastern region. Must be several still about riding SV and SFV. and may get some here on 7 when they arrive.

Live moves on I guess I am still around the area (Wymondham), I have a Husqvarna Svartpilen 400 as my main bike now, but kids, moving house, job, life in general etc means I don't ride it anywhere near enough!

Just noticed I have been on this forum for over 20 years!

The forum is quiet in general. Many riders, me included, have moved on to other machines, but you'd think that there must be lots of SV riders still out there.

SKIP. Nice to know you're local. went that way yesterday to Tacoleston and Bunwell. Two Wheel tuesday a couple of times each year. Got a BMW 1200 RS which I traded my Gladius for. That I bought twice, previous I traded Gladius for Sprint GT after 18000 miles. then rebought it private. But now have a 22 SV. Yes I like the bike, fun again.
