Able to remove key with bike running
Can any body else take the key from the bike and still have the bike running. I think it is unusual.

Not that unusual - my Kawasaki is the same, the tumblers of the ignition lock are worn.

My dad had that on his car, it was a bit of both, the key was cut correctly but overall worn out and the lock is old. If he used an original key that was hardly used the key would not come out though.

Doesn't having a worn lock make your bike more vunerable to theft? Like couldn't some guy take a crowbar, or a big straight-bladed screw driver and turn on your bike? Seems like it would.

Unless you're going to force the lock, with a screwdriver etc as you suggest, then even when worn you'll still need a key which will physically fit the lock form, the difference being that when the tumblers are worn there is a greater variety of keys that will now fit and turn it, but then if you rely on the ignition lock alone it's never going to be very scure anyway. I mean this, the standard locks really aren't that good.
