Default Turbo SV650 - anybody tried?

Turbo SV650.

Not planning to do this at all, but out of interest. Has it ever been done? How hard can it be?

Plus a purpose made steel crank and forged con rods. Cheaper and more reliable just to buy a bigger bike. If you want power CC's are more reliable than tuning.

Honda and Yamaha both tried to turbo charge V-twins and if their combined expertise could make it work for everyday use, then I wouldn't bother.

Trouble with stressing up the SV lump is that it breaks.I wouldnt want a turboed sv between my legs as you never know where the piston will end up.

Good point, well made. But can you imagine the sound? I love the sound of turbo chatter
