Default Fairings

Hello SVers,

A few days ago I lowsided my 2000 SV650s, cracking the right fairing. I've been looking for a new fairing set since I bought my motorcycle and saw this as an opportunity to get one. I had decided on a set from Rokalam, but since reading some reviews, I've decided not to and to look for an OEM set. After searching worldwide for 99-02 non chinese set, I couldn't find anything. Can anyone suggest a set that is high quality?

Morning Hugo and welcome to the madhouse.

I don't like to be too pessimistic but good quality curvy fairings are like hen's teeth. I can only suggest you be patient and keep looking, or have your existing fairings plastic welded by someone who knows what they're doing.

Got any pictures of the broken fairing?

Someone that knew what they were doing would probably make a job of it so you would be unaware that it had been damaged

Here’s the whole bike. Not terrible but still bad enough to want a new fairing. On top of that my tank, rear fairings, and front fairings are different colours. I can provide a better photo later on if it would help more. What do you think?

I'd be inclined to go for the repair and respray option personally.

Anything on eBay that might help? Set up a saved search maybe.

Yes, left fairings seem to be relatively easy to find but no right fairings. And yeah I have a lookout on Facebook marketplace, Kijiji and eBay.

I've seen some owners fit a Buel fairing and it looks quite good on a curvy SV
