Fairly quiet Christmas for me. Just wish it would stop raining.
Four days on, four off sounds good.

I managed to get an Olympus Pen EP2 for £35 from London Camera Exchange to replace my EP1 (intermintant SD read error). Transfered over the leatherette and all looks good.

Very nice. Do you have film for it?

No I don't and I probably won't bother as it's seems very pricey.

If you are interested, I have a spare Minolta 16 cartridge that I could load with some Fomapan black and white. I have offcuts from when I trim down 120 to 127.

That's very kind of you but don't worry. I put a film in my Pentax 110 a couple of years ago and I still haven't finished it. I suspect it'll be the same with this camera.

No worries, the offer stands if you wanted.

So after waiting six months to get a chrome Nikon F, I managed to land a black one today as well. I traded an Olmypus OM1 and £60 cash.

Popped into the local reuse shop today, pickings have been a bit slim lately. However, this time there were a couple of interesting new items. An Olympus Pen EP3 lite with a 45mm f1.8 for £50 and an Olympus OM-D E-M5 with a Panasonic 20mm f1.7 for the same price. Grabbed the EM5 and left the Pen (as much as I wanted both) Popped the lens onto my EM10 and it works a treat, just needs cleaning. As for the EM5, I can't test it right now as I don't have a charger (thank you Amazon, one will be here tomorrow) hopefully it works, if not, no worries as I got a 20mm lens for £50.
