Update on the August B/H Cancelled so revert to plan 2
Due to people having various other commitments and high costs and accom probs I propose leaving it as a blank,then I can spent time with she who matters and gain loads of brownie points,BUT, I know of a ride-out going to Scotland the week after[Frid-Mon] which would make the week following the bankholiday a nice short three day week for anybody interested.
Friday-Up the A1 till junct No58- A68 through Corbridge-Jedburgh-Dalkeith round the south ring road at Edinburgh join the M9 to Stirling Probably be staying in the SYHA in Stirling centre which has adequate off road bike parking plenty of eateries and night life Sat--Sun, two ride outs distance and destinations weather dependent Sat=A84-Callender-Lochearnhead-A85 Crianlarich A82-tarbet-Balloch A811-Stirling Sun=A91 -A92 Dundee A923- Blairgowrie A93/924 Pitlochry A9-Dunkeld- A822 Crieff-Greenloaning- A9-Stirling Mon= Back to Edinburgh ring road, A7 Gorebridge-Gala-Selkirk-Hawick Junct No44-M6-Junct No 42- A6 Kendal A684-Junct37 M6-----------Home |

Mac, if you are basing in stirling then you should really try and include thr "dukes pass" starts at aberfoyle "west of stirling. You could either modify your sat run to miss doune and callender and take it in north bound or modify the sunday run and go north past greenloaning muthill creif, west past loch earn south through kilmahog and hit it southbound. Alternatively tou could do it independantly and hit it north and south. If your interested PM carelesschucca as its his playground and he can advise the best approach etc.
