Hello all, not sure if this topic has been used and abused but was wondering if the difference is worth while chaning the rear sprocket?? i have changed and dropped a tooth off the front sprocket and was impressed and want to know what the effects will be with the rear doen aswell???

Hi,
I think that dropping one off the front is equal to adding three onto the back, so you wont feel much of a difference but the difference will be there. Hope this gives you an idea of what will happen. |

Hi sv nutter
I have gone up two teeth on the back and the differance can be felt low down in the reves but you will lose about 5/8 mph top end, if you like top end go down in teeth but you will lose out on pulling power if you are like me and have to chase mates that have sports 600s then it will make a differance. |
