Depends what sort of bike you have. I use Shrewsbury Honda Centre (because I have a Hornet) - it's in Harlescott, between the level crossing and The Harlescott pub. I thought the last service was slightly expensive but others on here disagreed and told me the cost was OK for what it was. The mechanic there is very good and I've never had any problems with them, they're a friendly bunch. Newtown - David Jones springs to mind.

Hey Nick I moved from Essex myself in 1991, best thing I ever did. I do all my own servicing, so I can't comment too much on the local dealers, but here's what I have.
David Jones in Newtown (as Sythree mentioned) also owns the Honda centre, they might not be the cheapest in this localle but they are good. There's also Pete Jones in Coleham head. I've never used them for servicing, but they're don't appear as professional as the Honda centre. Prices are good for riding gear though There's Wylie and Holland in Telford, can't say much about them either. Drop me a PM if you want to discuss further. John

Sorry guys, only just been able to get back on to check, i've booked it in now at Pete Jones in Shewsbury so hopefully they'll be alright. The bike's an 2001 SV but i've got twin renegades so hopefully they'll be be forgiving but i've got the orginal can if not. Glad i made the move though, some much better roads up here! |
