Default Number Plates

Anyone know where I can get a replacement number plate? (mine has half melted after one of the plastic screws coming undone!!)

Also what size is the smalest legal one you can get??

The Mal website explains it all on the law section. Basically It depends on how many digits you have in your no. plate. If your lucky like me, you will have a 6 digit no. plate, and legally you are allowed to have a smaller plate.

Quite a few of the guys I know have been nicked for the single line plates too (although the Old Bill are pretty reasonable round these parts - usually only nick you for it if you've been seen riding like a tw*t)

I've always had smaller plates - usually 6 x 4 on a double line - & haven't had a tug yet.

*feverishly looks around for some wood to touch*

when i got pulled i saw the copper parked up as soon as i came over the crest of a hill, he was just parking his car about 2 miles further down the road.

I want by him at just under 60 (was on a national speedlimit country road)

I am guessing he was bored and wanted summat/ one to do. He did let me off with the straight through can though

the copper showed me in his car that his special numberplate regognition camera thought my numberplate was an 05 bike and not one of the other letters were correct.

He said that a speed camera would not be able to recognise the digits

Well, that's sold me. I can get caught twice for the small plate for every camera that catches me and still break even.
Of course, you can get in deep **** if you keep getting caught for a plate.
