Default Gearbox sprocket.

i have just purchased a 14 tooth front sprocket for my sk2, when i went to remove the standard item i found that the retaining nut was free, held on only by the tab washer. does anybody know if this is normal, or am i just lucky to have noticed it before it was too late?

By free do you mean you could loosen it by hand?
If so then you're lucky.

Mine wasn't free, but very lightly tightened... It's supposed to be on at something mad like 130nm IIRC!
