Still snowing here. So you get the day off or do you have to find another way round?

To go home comes from your annual leave.

Those with plenty left have already gone those with only a couple of days are waiting to see if they're sent home/prob choose not to come in tomorrow.

Then you've me and Frankie... we've no leave left
if we want to go home/not come in it comes from our salary.

Its bad enough for me who drives but he's a mid 50's fella who uses public transport to get him the 25miles into work poor fecker.

Our Normanton office is now going home so they can all "work from home" - no chance of that here in Norwich... hrmph

There should be an enforcable corporate responsibility issue here. If it is so dangerous to try and get to work you should not be expected to do so, and employers should not be able to penalise you for the weather. I know it will never happen of course...

I can work from home whenever I want but my wife needs to be in the office. She hates this sort of weather especially as she works in Stockenchurch, right on the leading edge of the Chiltern Hills which bears the brunt of the weather.

Yesterday, Bradford council in the infinite wisdom forgot to grit the A58 around Wyke. Now why would the fook up the busiest stretch of road upto the M62 from Halifax?
To cause tailbacks from Chainbar roundabout to HX....only took 3 hrs to go half a mile!!!!!!!!!!

Glad it wasn't me
