Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa
Got these as standard on the street triple, never used them before. Sticky as all hell. I've never trusted a tyre more. Tip in feels amazing. Corner at any speed, angle you want and it just clings on no issues. Haven't tried them in the wet, don't think they'd be up to much.
If anything though, they are too sticky. Gravel sticks to them and has actually peppered the bike's undertray and regularly flings gravel onto the seat! Obviously there is a price to pay for all that grip, I've only done 2200 miles and the rear is shagged. I'm hoping to get another 1000 out of the front. I'm going to try the Diable Rosso 4 next. It's more of a sporty road tyre, rather than a road/track tyre. Dual compound so should get more miles! |
