Morning Geo, hope all's well with you. I'm currently still struggling with this back injury and haven't wanted to spend much time in front of the computer I'm afraid, hence my silence on the Org. Hopefully back to normal in a couple of weeks time.

Yes it has been quiet on here lately. Sorry to hear your back problem persists Gary. Not a lot to report here, I spent the weekend tidying up the garden. Today I took out a Ford Kuga for a test drive. It was the 2.5 FHEV version and I was curious to try it out. I only did 9 miles but it managed 4.8 of those on pure electric and 57mpg. Like most hybrids it has auto transmission but in this case a CVT. It drove well and was very quiet to the point where I found myself travelling faster than I thought. It's on the short list as a replacement for my wife's current motability car.

Sorry Geo - I've been a bit quiet too. Went to visit me mum over the weekend and we stopped off on the way home to view a new build as a potential plan B in case our current chain falls through.
Gardening this morning (getting used to this three day week lark now) followed by the dentist this afternoon. Hopefully out on the bike tomorrow to see if any of the local-ish garden centres has the right size cover for my BBQ.

Morning all. A grey start here this morning, with a cold easterly breeze. The sun is now trying to break through but we still have that chilly breeze. Just about to head out with Mabel so warm layers seem to be in order.
I need to get in the garden later to put my maincrop spuds in the ground, and do a spot of veg seed sowing. I'll have to do that when I get back from visiting an old friend to help her with some seed sowing in her own garden this afternoon. Good luck with the greenhouse Mike. Hope you get some progress soon on the house sale and purchase Trevor.

Wind has got up a bit, making it all twice as tricky.
