Just taken some pics of my babe now i've done all the work to her that I wanted. When I bought it the plan was to do it slowly over the next year or so, but given that patience isnt my stongest point it's taken 5 weeks!!!

When I bought the bike it had a nasty sprayed black screen (shocking!), scratched fairings and dodgy touch up paint repair after standing spill, broken control plate and footrest hanger that was repaired with silicon, broken rear peg rhs, knackered hugger that was so cracked I have no idea how it stayed on, dented original stainless can and was in need of some proper tlc.

Well, thanks to Jeffs inability to say no I've now done everything I wanted to do and when I look at her now I have the same satisfied smile I used to get with the SV. All new parts are original Triumph parts with exception of the exhaust hanger which was made locally, so now the bike feels 'proper'. Even the new tank protector and top yoke protector are 2mm carbon fibre, moulded to fit, delicious!!!

She still looks a bit dated especially when sat next to Jeffs sparkly zx6r, but I wouldnt change her for the world.

What d'ya reckon??

I JUST ASOLUTELY MUST NOT DROP HER!!!!!

looking good. I've just finished of fitting a zx10 shock to mine today. Going to get some new springs and oil for the front at some point soon. Hopefully my arm will be up to going for a ride soon so i can try it out.

Hopefully arm will be good enough by the end of next week for a bit of a bimble. Decided to keep the SV for another year and just improve it a little. I'll get something new and shiny after that, really can't decide what sort of bike i want though. Think i'll be spending most of next year taking as many bikes as i can out on test rides to help me decide

I want to go out for a ride. Its sat outside with a shiny new shock fitted and i can't ride it yet because my arm still hurts too much, getting close to the point of going out on it anyway and just trying to ignore the pain.............
