Forgot to mention their origins. They're from a H*nda VFR400 NC30.
I got them from ebay for £25- the pair but any spares shop has them for £19- each. |

Do the H*nda VFR400 NC30 mirrors just fit straight on?
Hi,
Can you tell me if the H*nda VFR400 NC30 mirrors just fit directly onto the existing mountings, or whether you needed to make any alterations / brackets. I have a 2001 SV, I think this is the K1 model. Cheers ... Martin. |

The mounting bolts on the NC30 mirrors are too long, so I cut 10mm off the threads with a junior hacksaw.
They are also about 4mm wider apart so I "reamed" the mirror mount of the clock bracket with a 10mm bit and a battery drill. After that assemble as you would the OE mirrors using the standard nuts and fittings. |

Thanks for info...
... I might consider doing this. I'm having a total nightmare trying to find a pattern mirror since I snapped mine off putting it away
Did you replace yours for the same reason (i.e. damage), or did you just want a better view or a change of style? If you changed owing to damage, did you ever come across anywhere that does pattern replacements? Cheers ... Martin. |

Replaced them because the OE items are large heavy and useless. The only good thing about them was that they folded.
Didn't look for pattern items. |
