Default Another new SV owner

Well, I picked up my SV yesterday and survived the ride back from the Isle of Wight to Cardiff in the pouring rain! What a fantastic bike - took a few miles to get used to the riding position, but I soon got used to it. I was quite surprised that my only complaint after 120 miles was a numb bum. Even went out this morning and put another 60 miles on it! Stopped off at a B&Q car park to get a bacon sarnie and some tea - with the Remus Revolution can on it, it sounds fantastic and loads of people turned to look!

Piccies below - first one while waiting for my mate to catch up in the car as he got stuck in the traffic in Cowes, I filtered to the front and had an ice cream . Second pic is me having a quick break on the way back.

I was surpised as I was expecting the journey to be a real slog. In the end it was really comfortable and easy - might be because I'm used to naked bikes.

Good luck with the lessons and test.

You starting from scratch with the CBT or have you ridden before?

I had a bit of an advantage as rode off-road for years before getting on the road.
