I too thought I'd get out before the BH madness, although it was still busy around Shrewsbury






I've seen the Knockin radio telescope many times in the past but on this occasion I found the entrance. It look very sureal in the Shropshire landscape.

When I first moved up from the sarf uv Ingerland 40 years ago I lived for 11 months very close to the radio telescope. It does look pretty incongruous in it's location there.

Mabel and I did an 11 mile hike with friends and their hounds up in the mountains north of the dam at Llyn Efyrnwy. A fairly challenging, but excellent walk.

On the top.





Just off the lake side there's a waterfall. Perfect for the dogs.

Great little bike show and good to catch up too John. I liked the hopped up, steampunk scooter. I thought it was brilliantly done.

Great pics, John. Always loved the US street-scrambler style, I think both British and Japanese manufacturers missed a trick by not making them available here. The Triumph 500 and 650 twins, and the Commando looked brilliant with the high-pipe options.
