Re: Newbie but oldie! Bought a Gladius.
Yep. Took a bit of a chance with the eBay part, but it was perfect.
Bike has a R & G tail tidy but a couple of the LEDs aren't working. Is that repairable does anyone know? |

You can buy the R&G light separately. I had the same thing on my SV. Couple of LEDs stopped working.Just bought the light and swapped it out.

Re: Newbie but oldie! Bought a Gladius.
So the rear light was sorted, and the bike was doused in ACF50 and wintered well in a garage.
All is well and I took it for a chilly spin last weekend. I'd like to test the rad fan as I've never heard it working - maybe it never got hot enough? Is it as simple as disconnecting the ECT sensor on the thermostat and bridging the coupler so that the fan will come on with the ignition? The fan itself turns freely. |

Never had the radiator fan work on my 2016 AL7 since new, being a naked bike I guess it never gets hot enough.

Re: Newbie but oldie! Bought a Gladius.
Hello all. I need some advice.
2 weeks ago I had an off. Car pulled out of a side road and I went airborne. Speed wasn't an issue and I very nearly got it stopped. Cracked ribs and a few cuts and bruises. I'm getting better now thankfully. There was a lot of pain. In any event the bike really isn't too bad. Mirror, bar end, brake handle, drivers footrest, and a few scrapes. I can get all of those things I think. Where I'm struggling to find is a rhs (from the riders perspective) fuel tank cover ideally in red. Would anyone know where I might find one? A breakers part might be ideal as long as it's tidy. Thanks. |

Re: Newbie but oldie! Bought a Gladius.
Hope you're on the mend.
Are you trying to avoid ordering a new one ? (44171-44H01-YVZ) Fits a 2009 to 2014 model (needs to be ordered), or are they no longer produced? https://www.fowlersparts.co.uk/parts...4171-44H01-YVZ £185 from Fowlers (allegedly). I don't think they sold many Gladius' (Gladiuii? Gladiuses?) so used parts are rarer.
