Default essential changes to my k4 sv650s

are there any essential changes that can be done?

anything from s/s bolts to extenda fendas and so on!

Done approx 1200 miles so far and very happy.

suspension and stuff feels fine, vfr 400 previous bike.

Any advise on upgrades or any advice in general?

thanks

Nitrous.

There's nothing essential for the SV... But a good coat of hard wax would be a good idea for the newer ones. ACF-50 on the bottom yoke and other exposed metalwork/fasteners, engine casings etc could be a good investment, and maybe that clear plastic stuff on the heel plates before they wear.

Stainless bolts do become a good idea after a few years and a couple of winters, IMO, but you don't need to worry about that yet. If you're perfectly happy after 1200 miles then why spend a penny?

get a tail tidy from somewhere to remove the huge plastic thing that suzuki put on it, it really tidy's up the rear end of the bike, i got the one from NWS but i didn't fit very well and i ended up having to modify it so i wouldn't recomend it.

R&G crash protectors are a good investment as well, they cost around £50 and can save hundeds - i haven't tested them let - luckily!
