Question Body armour protection (am I over doing this?)

I am about to buy a new back protector and was (until I saw BigApes photos) thinking of getting the Knox Ricochet back protector 7. When I saw the photos it made me think that it might be a good idea to have both back and rib protection just in case the worst happens eg: this or this.

Ultimately, I will have to make an informed decision but if you have any views then I would love to hear them.

Not really overdoing it,

I have chest protection but not the Motocross shirts. So I can't comment on them. Some other products you may want to look at.

I have this Knox Gilet Air, chest protection is quite bulky.

You may want look at forcefield body armour products. Their back protector has been top in magazine tests and they do chest protection, shirts, etc.

I have gone for the AlpineStar Bionic Vest, it looks like a nice compremise betweek a motocross shirt and a back protector. Will put a review on here when I receive it.
