As it says in my Youtube Bio, I don't profess to be a mechanic..... far from it, I'm just somebody that has taken things apart from a very young age, then tried to put them together again & hope that they work. I've made some really bad decisions & it's cost me a lot of money to put them right, but I try to learn from my mistakes.

Re: Hello again......
I find this one even more interesting then the previous builds, seeing as I used to have a blue Curvy.

I have some fabricating to do on the fairing that I'm trying to fit, but then, yes, hopefully start to piece it back together

Re: Hello again......
That's interesting about the Honda fork internals fitting the SV. Keen to see how well they work now.

Re: Hello again......
GSX-R fairing? Interesting exhaust, that's for sure, and the front end looks so skinny without the front cylinder
As black is quite slimming it'll make the already quite svelte SV look deceptively diminutive, which may well catch out a few wannabees at the lights.

Re: Hello again......
Well I recognised it instantly - see my sig!
Looks quite good in that pic, actually. I like the concept. (Ironically, as part of my project musings, I've been considering an SV front end (with internals tweaked) as a budget upgrade for my FZ to improve suspension and get rid of the 16" front wheel without looking too non-standard. Haven't worked out the rear end change to get rid of the 18" wheel there though - narrow swing arm means clearances for wider wheel are tights so need to experiment. Don't hold your breath though, this isn's derail - mine's a very, very slow project, some might say glacial or stagnant - again, see sig!)
