Cheap Trackers
Has anyone used the TrackR that keeps popping up on the header pages on the computer,It looks like a small disc ( about the size of a 2032 button battery) and is used in conjunction with your phone, cheap as chips from USA,and in Europe but surprise surprise £20+ and postage in the UK,!!!

Re: Cheap Trackers
Aren't they the ones that rely on another user being nearby to alert you? Think it works off bluetooth? Great....until your bike is more than 10 metres from you!

Re: Cheap Trackers
Was considering them, bit like the Tile except you can replace the battery but that also means it's not waterproof.
It is Bluetooth and uses crowd sourcing to locate the item, so if someone who is also a user and has the app on their phone passes near by it will notify you of its last known location so you can go look for it. Would probably be alright for keys and things like that but probably not so great for a motorcycle Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: Cheap Trackers
They aren't as accurate as you'd hope either.
My colleagues bought them to put in their luggage. Whilst sat on the runway at Heathrow waiting to take off they checked their tile and it told them their bags were the other end of the runway. So what 2 miles away? Obviously all trackers are created differently but these were the 'tile' ones.

They're only as accurate as the gps on the device they're bluetoothed to at the end of the day.
