Brands Hatch - full GP circuit - Monday 13th August

As the title says. It's being run by No Limits and is, I reckon, a bargain at £169.

I've done Brands a couple of times before, but never the full GP circuit.

I spoke to No Limits today to ask about the fact that they’re running two Inters groups. They said it’s basically because they need to run 4 groups on the day to keep the costs down – otherwise it would be about £280 if they were just running Fast, Inters & Novice.

He said that each group would still get the usual 6 sessions on track – but each session would be cut by a couple of minutes in order to accommodate everyone.

I asked if there was a difference between the two Inters groups: “Intermediate2” and Intermediate” – and he said that Inters 2 is effectively a ‘fast’ Inters (and it’s listed on the booking page directly under the Fast group).

So, I’m going to go into plain old Inters

I haven't done a track day in 6 years and Brands GP perhaps 5 years before that, I remember them changing dingle dell, god knows when that was....

nearer the time I may pop down with the camera, but have to see.

I'll keep an eye on this one, Brands GP is my favourite track. Just need to check with work as am off lots of July/beginning of August already. Only thinig is 4 groups can be a pain

Well it's personal opinion but 15 minutes seems a lot shorter than 20 after you have done a warm up lap, slow down lap and maybe had to fund some space on the track. you might only get 8 minutes of really good fun as opposed to 13 on the GP track. Then the 45 minute wait seems ages as you haven't been satisfied by the 15 minutes!

Depending on work I'd love to come with the camera and do pics. But it's Test match week so I may be too busy.
